TOEIC® Listening & Reading Test

Score Direct Reporting Service

Information on our Direct Reporting Service for the TOEIC® Listening & Reading Test in Secure Program, the TOEIC® Speaking & Writing Tests in Secure Program and the TOEIC® Speaking Test in Secure Program

The Direct Reporting Service is used to send the Official Score Certificates for the TOEIC L&R Test in Secure Program, the TOEIC S&W Tests in Secure Program and the TOEIC Speaking Test in Secure Program directly to designated schools or institutions.
If you want to use this service, please read the Caution and Application Procedure below as well as the Notes in the TOEIC L&R Test/TOEIC S&W Tests/TOEIC Speaking Test in Secure Program Direct Reporting Service Request Form (“DRS Request Form”) before applying.

Caution

  1. Please check whether the school you wish the certificate to be sent to uses the Direct Reporting Service. The school and the IIBC need to have a memorandum of agreement.
    • We cannot send certificates directly if the school does not use the Direct Reporting Service. Any request for a certificate to be sent to a school that does not use the Direct Reporting Service will be returned to the sender. The IIBC cannot be held responsible if this causes any issues with your entrance examination procedures.
    • The Direct Reporting Service is not a service for school admission applications.The IIBC cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of the Official Score Certificate to the school by that’s school’s deadline as a result of errors in the Direct Reporting Service request form or insufficient payment of the fee.
  2. The Direct Reporting Service is available for Official Score Certificates from TOEIC L&R Test in Secure Program, TOEIC S&W Tests in Secure Program and TOEIC Speaking Test in Secure Program taken in Japan.
    • Not available for the Institutional Program (IP).
  3. Documents that arrive at the IIBC within 2 years of the test date are valid (Official Score Certificates will not be reissued more than 2 years after the test date).
    • Some schools may specify that the test results sent to them be of a test taken no earlier than a certain date, so please contact your school directly to confirm such details.
    • Please note that if the certificate is sent by any other method than Simplified Registered Mail or Ordinary Registered Mail, we will not be able to confirm its location.
  4. We will send your Official Score Certificate to your designated school within 4 business days of receiving your application by registered mail. Weekends, national holidays, and year-end through New Year's holidays are not counted as business days. When we receive your direct reporting request form before we send original Official Score Certificate, we will send your Official Score Certificate to your desiginated school next business day of the results sending date.
    • IIBC cannot be held responsible if,although having processed the posting according to schedule, the certificate does not arrive by the submission deadline. Make your request in plenty of time, well before the deadline.
  5. The scheduled date for sending the Official Score Certificate will be shown on the Letter of Acknowledgment of Receipt informing you that your direct reporting request form has arrived at the IIBC. Please contact us if you have not received this letter within a week of sending us the form.
  6. Please notify the school yourself if your name has changed since test date. We cannot change the name on the Official Score Certificate.

Application Procedure

  1. Prepare the following documents.
    1. Direct reporting request form for Official Score Certificate for TOEIC L&R Test/TOEIC S&W Tests/TOEIC Speaking Test in Secure Program(PDF 80KB)
      • Print the form, check the Note, then fill in the required details.
      • You will need one form for each school.
        • If you cannot print the form, please send us a document with the same information as the request form.
    2. Postal money order
      • One copy of the TOEIC L&R Official Score Certificate: JPY1,100（incl. tax）
      • One copy of the TOEIC S&W Official Score Certificate: JPY1,100（incl. tax）
      • One copy of the TOEIC Speaking Official Score Certificate: JPY1,100（incl. tax）
      • One copy of the TOEIC L&R Official Score Certificate and one copy of the TOEIC S&W Official Score Certificate: JPY1,650（incl. tax）
      • The money order should be issued in Japan either by Japan Post Bank or a post office and be no more than six months old.
        • You do not need to write anything or affix your seal in any of the fields on either side of the money order.
  2. Write “Direct Reporting Service Request Form Enclosed” or “公式認定証直送依頼書在中” on the front of an envelope and post it via Simplified or Ordinary registered mail.
    • We cannot take any responsibility for postal delays or non-delivery.
