Tina:: Nice meeting you, too, Mr. Kitano. I'm Tina Lopez, marketing manager. You can call me Tina. Thank you for coming today. I'm glad to have a chance to work with you.
Tsuyoshi:: Likewise. Here's my business card.
Tina:: And this is mine.

Tina:: So, have you been doing this for a long time?
Tsuyoshi:: Well, I studied graphic design in college and originally started out as a designer at a small design firm, doing everything from posters and booklets to flyers. I then went on to design magazine ads at XYZ Ad Agency for about seven years. While there, I started helping out with TV commercials too, and I found that more exciting because I'm actually more of a people person than an artist. I joined ABC Advertising in 2003 as production manager and have been with them ever since.
Tina:: That's impressive. Would I know any of the projects you've worked on besides that famous dolphin commercial?
Tsuyoshi:: You might remember that commercial for canned coffee with actor Ben Damon.That was the first project I worked on as producer.
Tina:: Wow, that was yours? I'm really excited to see how our commercial will turn out.

I'm Tsuyoshi Kitano. I'll be the producer for your new commercial.: まずは名前を名乗り、肩書きや仕事の内容をシンプルに伝えます。この例では既に互いの所属先を知っているので会社名は省略されていますが、I'm a chemical engineer for a pharmaceutical company.（製薬会社で化学エンジニアをしています）、I'm the director of sales at ABC Insurance Company.（ABC保険会社の営業部長です）などと言うことができます。
Thank you for coming today. I'm glad to have a chance to work with you.: 足を運んでくれた相手に対して感謝の言葉を伝え、「お仕事でご一緒できてうれしいです」と述べています。良い人間関係を築いていくためには、このような前向きなメッセージを随所で伝えていくことが大切です。この例では、ひとことLikewise.（同じく）と返していますが、The pleasure is mine.（私のほうこそうれしいです）などと言ってもOKです。
Here's my business card.: 名刺を渡すときの言葉です。欧米では特に両手で受け取ったりお辞儀をしたりしなければならないという習慣はありませんが、相手の名刺を雑に扱ってはいけないのは世界共通です。

I then went on to design magazine ads at XYZ Ad Agency for about seven years.: 自分のバックグラウンドを簡単に説明しています。このようにstarted out as…（～として［仕事を］始めた）、then（その次に）、went on to…（それから～した）、while there（そこにいたときに）などの言葉を使うと、筋道立ててわかりやすく説明することができます。
I'm actually more of a people person than an artist.: people personは「人と接するのが好きな人」という意味で、tech person（技術系の人）、morning person（朝型の人）などと言うこともできます。ビジネスで個人のスキルを説明する際に使われる表現には、ほかにもteam player（協調性のある人）、problem solver（問題解決能力の高い人）、risk taker（リスクを負う人）などがあるので覚えておきましょう。
I joined ABC Advertising in 2003 as production manager and have been with them ever since.: 「～に入社する」と言うとき、enter…と言う場合もありますが、join…やtake a job with…といった表現を使うほうが一般的です。仕事の内容について説明する際は、I'm in charge of customer support.（顧客サポートを担当しています）、I'm responsible for maintaining good relationships with our partners.（取引先との良好な関係を維持するのが私の役目です）などと言うことができます。
That was the first project I worked on as producer.: work on…は「～を手掛ける」という意味です。be part of…（～に参加する）、handle…（～を担当する）、oversee…（監督する）、spearhead…（～の指揮をとる）といった表現もよく使われます。
