Kimura:: Hello, this is Nao Kimura from Takeda Corporation. I'm calling about the order I received from you today.
Jackson:: Can I have the order number?
Kimura:: It's 320-14P.
Jackson:: Let's see ... Yes, it's our new fabric. What seems to be the problem?
Kimura:: Well, the product was quite different from the sample you sent us the other day. The texture isn't as soft as I thought it would be. Besides, it seems like the color varies significantly. The color of the sample was a soft light yellow and that's why we decided to place an order. But the color of what came today is too intense.
Jackson:: I'm terribly sorry. There's really no excuse for it. We will immediately ship a replacement with the same quality and color as the sample you saw.
Kimura:: I appreciate that, but we'd rather return the order.
Jackson:: I understand. Then please return your order at our expense.

解説

I'm calling about the order I received from you today.: I'm calling about ～は「～の件でお電話差し上げました」。この表現を使って、電話の用件を最初にはっきりと伝えます。I'm calling to let you know that ～もほぼ同じ意味で使うことができます。
What seems to be the problem?: 返品の依頼を受ける側が使う表現で、「どういった問題でしょうか」という意味です。seem to ～「～のように思われる」を使うと、What is the problem?「どんな問題ですか」というストレートな聞き方よりもソフトな表現となります。
The product was quite different from the sample you sent us the other day. The texture isn't as soft as I thought it would be.: 1文目で「（受け取った）商品が、先日送ってもらったサンプルと異なっていた」と、問題点を伝え、2文目で「生地の手触りが思っていたほど柔らかくない」と、具体的に指摘しています。
受け取った商品が注文した物とまったく違う場合にはThis is not what we ordered.と言います。
I appreciate that, but we'd rather return the order.: サンプルと同じ物を発送するという申し出に対し、I appreciate that.とお礼を言ったあとで、「（交換よりも）むしろ返品したい」と言っています。＜would rather＋動詞の原形＞は「むしろ～したい」という意味です。ほかに、I'd like to ask for a refund.「払い戻しをお願いしたい」と言うこともできます。I want a refund.はぶしつけな印象を与えるので避けましょう。
Then please return your order at our expense.: 返品の依頼を受ける側が使う表現です。at our expenseは「費用を弊社の負担で」という意味。つまり「着払いで送り返してください」ということを伝えています。「着払いで」はcash on delivery（＝COD）とも言います。
