Test Format and Content
The TOEIC Bridge Test is an objective test using optically-scanned answer sheets. There are 100 questions to answer in approximately one hour in Listening (approximately 25 minutes, 50 questions) and Reading (35 minutes, 50 questions). The test is only in English. There are no questions involving translating from Japanese to English, or from English to Japanese. The directions are also only in English. The question format is the same each time year. The answers are all given on a separate answer sheet, where you select the number that best corresponds with the answer and fill it in with your pencil.
The TOEIC Bridge Test results are given as a score between 20 and 180 points, rather than a pass or a fail.
